Standing atop the ridge of Millbrook Mountain in Minnewaska State Park Preserve at 1,600 feet, nature unfolds its magic. On a warm November day, under soft light, I captured a Turkey Vulture flying almost directly toward me. Its wings are majestically spread, with the splayed feathers at the tips creating a graceful pattern in the air. The background blurs into vibrant autumn colors of orange, yellow, and green evergreens, adding depth to the frame. This moment reminded me of the freedom and boundless beauty of nature.
