At the top of Millbrook Mountain in Minnewaska State Park Preserve, standing at 1,600 feet, I witnessed an extraordinary moment. A Turkey Vulture flew slightly below my level, offering a rare and breathtaking perspective. Its wings were fully spread, and the intricate details of its feathers were visible in every curve. The soft light of autumn illuminated the background, filled with vibrant hues of orange, yellow, and green evergreens, creating a stunning contrast.
